After selecting a Feature Pattern truss you are able to modify the settings of the truss.
Click the Edit Truss icon in the top right toolbar and choose Convert To Settings . You will now be able to modify the settings as they were when it was inserted.
Warning
Using Convert To Settings will cause you to lose any custom modifications made to the geometry of the truss.
If you are working in the context of a project, you may find it helpful to override the default settings for feature pattern trusses. You can do this by clicking the Project Menu and selecting Feature Pattern Settings
