Analysis
A standard analysis runs analysis "checks" on the selected component. By default, it will respect all of the component's settings, generate an analog model, and apply the specified loading.
Prototype Trusses
For prototype trusses, a standard analysis will upgrade member species and grades while respecting the component's Material Settings. Prototype trusses do not include plate data.
Manufacturer Trusses
For manufacturer trusses, a standard analysis will upgrade member species and grades and plate types and sizes while respecting the component's Material Settings.
You can toggle some parts of this process using the component's Lock Options.
This analysis records as much detail as possible while running the engineering checks. This takes longer but will provide additional insights about the Check Results. Running detailed analysis allows you to toggle Display Forces
in the Analysis and History
subpanel.
Plate Unplated Joints
Choose whether you want all joints on the component to be automatically plated. Turn this off if Paragon is adding a plate to a joint that should remain unplated. This is enabled by default. To turn this off, you must first lock plating then disable Plate Unplated Joints.
