# Render Mode Options

There are several options available when viewing a layout. Below is a list of object types and their associated options. See the [Render Modes Reference](/layout/reference/render-modes.md) and [Render Modes Explanation](/layout/explanation/render-modes.md) for more information.

The Render Mode Options allow you to define whether or not objects are visible within the scene. When objects are visible, the options determine how they appear in the scene.

You are able to interact with the rendering options in a variety of ways:

* Hover above an icon to display the associated rendering options.
* Click the icon to cycle through the list of rendering options.
* Alternatively, you can select the rendering option of your choice from the list.

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.paragontruss.com/layout/layout-overview-1/interface-overview/layout-options-toolbar/render-mode-options.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
