Convert to Settings

Warning

Convert to Settings will revert the truss back to its original design settings. Any changes you made after or during component insertion including analysis history will be lost. There is no way to undo this action.

Convert a profile truss back to settings

Step 1 - Click the Edit Truss icon and choose Convert to Settings

Step 2 - Accept the dialog warning about losing modifications

Step 3 - Make any desired changes to your truss using the Component Insertion panel

Tip

Converting to settings reverts back to the component insertion process for this truss. If you want to cancel and not lose your changes you can cancel the component insertion process and your truss will be preserved.
