# Create an Estimate

## Step 1 - Open the Create Estimate Tool by clicking the `Create Estimate` button in the [`Header`](/design/getting-started/interface-overview/header.md) or [`Project Menu`](/design/getting-started/interface-overview/header.md#project-menu).

## Step 2A - Create a New Estimate from Scratch

Use the `Create Estimate` tool to enter custom values for \`Name\`, \`Component Quantities\`, material prices, labor costs, and more.

## Step 2B - Load an Existing Estimate and Modify

Load an existing estimate to populate values. Modify as needed.

## Step 3 - Use the `CREATE ESTIMATE CSV` or `CREATE ESTIMATE PDF` buttons to Generate the Estimate
