# Feature Pattern Settings

## Components

### Modify Feature Pattern Settings During Component Insertion

After selecting a Feature Pattern truss you are able to modify the settings of the truss.

## Modify Feature Pattern Settings after insertion

Click the `Edit Truss` icon in the top right toolbar and choose `Convert To Settings` . You will now be able to modify the settings as they were when it was inserted.

Warning

Using `Convert To Settings` will cause you to lose any custom modifications made to the geometry of the truss.

## Projects

If you are working in the context of a project, you may find it helpful to override the default settings for feature pattern trusses. You can do this by clicking the `Project Menu` and selecting `Feature Pattern Settings`
